The 150th anniversary
Today, April 18th is the 150th anniversary of Agneberg. It was celebrated with speeches from prominent politicians and principals and motivation speakers for the students. The highpoint of the day was the unveiling of a new logo for the School.
What thoughts do you get, looking at it?
There were also a gallery with interviews from famous people that had been students of Agneberg and old ledgers with names, pictures and dates dating all the way back 150 years. The school held an open house all day all night for the community to visit.
Wow what a wonderful celebration day. We only have a few places In Australia that are as old as this. Many of our vocational colleges were built after the 1950's but there are some quite old ones in the capital cities.
