  1. I really like the University and I have spent some lovely times with colleagues there. It is very open and light and I like this environment.
Did you enjoy your practical education? What was the best thing about it?

  2. I enjoyed the practical education. My mentor was interested and we had fun planing lessions together, making test for the students and evaluate what they have learned. We gave them personal feedback and it was fun to listen to their plans for the future. Some of them wanted to continue their education at a univertity. Can I come and visit you, Ros? You can send a student to my univertity, and I visit yours. :)

  3. Anna it sounds as though your Practcium was just wonderful and how good to have such a supportive mentor. It si good that some of them want to go on to university. inAustralia if our VET students go on to a Diploma or Advanced Diploma they can then go to university and get credit for some University subjects. Does this happen in Sweden. We find ti encourages students to go further with their studies.
You are certainly welcome to come and visit our University and our schools and Colleges in the region. Just let me know.

  4. The students have very different goals. Some of them go to univertity but not all of them. Some of them work for some years and then go to university. We encourage the students to study courses that will help them to go to universsity of they chose to go later.

  5. I don't know if it's right but I think you can see qiute early if your student have will and knowledge to study at th university. I try to encourage the students to study at the unnviersity. For many students they have to work for a couple of year and then they are ready for the univeristy.

  6. Yes we find the same thing Martina. We try and encourage our students to think about different "pathways". they can choose one pathway now but they can change this in the future if they want to. It is important that we create a sense of choice for our students nand make sure that they know about these choices. Do you do this?
